This little computer is simply astonishing. I've been keeping a close eye on Asus development of the Eee series and decided they now have a product of distinction. This machines performance and features simply cannot be beat. The performance far exceeds my expectations. This is a truly usable ultra mobile computer. I especially like they way they placed a large installation cover on the bottom for upgrading the memory and hard drive making it simple to perform upgrades. Some of the other brands do not do this and must be serviced by technicians. The removeable battery pack is simply gravy on top of everything. No more shipping your unit to service to replace the battery. Tiger direct upgraded my memory to 2G when I bought the machine, no charge for installation. I believe I paid approximately $20. Some of the competitors netbooks could only use 1.5G. I would recommend this upgrade. If it helps, I'm a professional programmer and give the Asus 1000HA a solid 2 thumbs up.
