This is really praise for Amazon's service in conjunction with my purchase of the Asus 1000HA. I tried this netbook in a store, read all the great reviews, and have been watching the price for a couple weeks. Yesterday, I purchased it for $422.00 direct from Amazon. The expected ship date was in one week, Dec. 15. So today I was telling a coworker about this netbook and saw that the price had dropped to $399.99 overnight! I checked my order and it was already prepped for shipping and couldn't be changed. Since Sept. Amazon no longer has a price guarantee. I figured I'd either just pay the higher price or order another one and return the first when it arrived but decided to call Amazon first. They agreed to give me a one time adjustment to the new price and my order will be arriving much sooner than expected!
