This little thing is almost perfect. Very good processor (fast and energy efficient), battery life is about 5 hours! Good bright 10 in. screen, hard drive size is very good for an ultra portable, 1GB is enough for Win XP but consider upgrading to 2GB depending on what you'll be running. Camera works great for video chat, keybord has a pretty good size, much better than the Asus 701 / 901 family, sound is ok for its size. Internal WiFi detects networks so far away which my dell notebook does not. I had one problem with mine: First boot caused a memory dump when Windows was starting and then I couldn't restart it. I had to reinstall Windows (not so easy as it does not have an optical drive) and now it runs flawlessly. An external dvd rom drive may be very useful.
