ASUS Eee PC 1000HA 10-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel ATOM N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, 10 GB E-Storage, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Fine Ebony

I own one of these bad boys for 2 weeks now, I really like how small, elegant and light they are.

Now starts my disappointment, for a netbook PC it doesn't even do what it supposed to, I think watching videos online is something that netbooks should do, but unfortunate it's not, unless you only watch from youtube and if that's the case these netbooks are for you, keep in mind that I'm not talking about those movie services like amazon or netflix, I'm talking about everyday short videos from various sources like "gametrailers.com for example", at gametrailers you can forget about watch any video in HD, it won't work and when it does it takes ages to load and when it loads the video pauses to buffering some more... So you must watch in SD, at some other websites is even worse, even in SD most of them if you try to watch in fullscreen the video locks or you have to restart your browse. So I don't know, I really thought these netbooks could do videos, again if you like youtube's video quality, this is an amazing little computer.

I'm glad that most people find netbooks useful, but until they make it a more powerful machine I'll stick with laptops, I guess in this case you really get what you pay for. Now I'll try to sell for a friend to get at least most of what I paid for it.

Sorry that I kept my review based on online videos only, but that's what was disappointed at and why I gave 3 stars out of 5.

P.S.: I've upgraded this 1000HA with 2GB memory since day one, just in case some of you mention that I should upgrade. If I'm frustrated with 2GB, I had no idea how 1GB would work for me.
