PROS: Very quick loadup. Quickly will connect to a wireless network. There is no added excipient junk software that slows things down forcing me to remove them that is loaded on most other manufacturer's. Mouse pad is very responsive, smooth, non sticky, and the two finger scrolling is better than most. Internet is very quick even on wireless g network. Asus made sure speed and function was key. People complaining about the mouse pad buttons are exaggerating. It may be slightly harder to push but I wouldn't even list it as a negative as I prefer not accidentily pushing it. 6 cell battery lasts over 5 hours. 10 inch screen. Refined and elegant
CONS: The right shift key is in the wrong spot, The resolution is the same as the other top netbooks but I have to admit the glossy screen of the acer is better. Heavy for a netbook mainly due to the 6 cell battery. For some reason I couldn't get it to connect through an ethernet cable directly. That may be due to me not being computer savvy since it was claiming an error or an issue with the netbook. It connected quickly thru wireless so I didn't bother much with the wire. I had to tweak the elantech mouse so it doesn't automatically have the 1-click select since it is too sensitive and will click links you don't want. This I have to do with all laptops though and wish they didn't have it as a default since the way I scroll on the mouse activates the click gesture.
