I bought this netbook after looking at several other brands. The eee pc is the best far as I can tell. Model 1000HA has a excellent keyboard and easy access to the ram. It feels well constructed. I had it since december and I am very happy with its performance. This boot up time is fast, the wifi is very good. The fan noise is minimal. I love the 10' screen, I would not go any smaller if you intent to surf the web. The best part is that it did come with the restore cd (i know, it does not have a optical drive, just get a external one).
It use my for watch video store on a 500 gb external drive, or streaming from my server. Works great. I would highly recommend the eee pc.
