I have the 1000HA for over a month and am very happy with it. I did upgrade it with a 2GB module, and Chill Pill speakers (which I reviewed separately). Installation of the module was easy and I didn't encounter any of the problems other reviewers have mentioned. I'm a hunt and peck typist so the placement of the right shift key doesn't bother me. I usually use the left one anyway. It connected quickly with my router. I bought it because of it's size. I wanted a computer that I could use while watching TV and take to bed. I enjoy reading in bed so I bought a nice computer tray in Wal Mart which makes it easy to surf while in bed or by the TV. My only minor complaint is that the touch pad is very sensitive, just lightly brush it and your off. I have no problem with the right or left keys as others have mentioned. I would advice buying the white one as the black really shows finger marks.
