I was struggling with buying a smart phone or getting a netbook to replace my aging larger laptop. My main goal was to be able to quickly and easily access my desktop via gotomypc. While I was concerned about the small screen size, that hasn't been an issue since my software allows me to zoom rather easily.
In the few weeks that I have had the Asus, I have been extremely pleased.
*It boots up and shuts down quite rapidly.
*The large keyboard works great for me (it's almost full size).
*The funny location of the shift key on the right actually works well for me, though it takes a little thinking before one can become accustomed to it.
*It is so light and portable
*I sure appreciate the long battery life
