I've owned a normal size laptop and a PDA but neither traveled well being either too cumbersome or not useful. This PC is the right size with the right applications. The keyboard is small with it's infamous right shift key. Many times I don't press it well enough to get the shift. It's also a great second PC for web surfing away from my desk. The internal speakers are weak but that's hardly a big concern. Build quality is good so I hope it's robust enough to handle a few trips.
