Very happy with this netbook. Its a great value. Little if any bloatware. Flexible video settings and a VGA output for a projector. Great battery life too as I routinely get above 5 hrs with an active wireless port.
Cons: The glossy case is a finger print magnet. The right shift key takes some getting used to. My biggest complaint is with Amazon shipping. The first unit arrived with a bad display. I had about a dozen vertical lines, some blotchy. Ordered a replacement from Amazon, and the second one had a similar problem. The third one was fine though. I think that Amazon needs to package these more carefully. There was no padding at all around 5 of the 6 sides of the ASUS box. My guess is that shock from shipping caused the display problem.
All in all, very happy despite the above cons. Would recommend this netbook in a heart beat. Get more detail about ASUS Eee PC 1000HA 10-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel ATOM N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, 10 GB E-Storage, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Fine Ebony.
